Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM dashboards for security incidents and anomalies
- Perform vulnerability scanning and penetration testing support
- Document security procedures and incident response reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security initiatives
- Assist with firewall and endpoint security configuration
- Participate in threat hunting and forensic analysis tasks
- Stay current on emerging cybersecurity threats and trends
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Cybersecurity or IT-related field
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification preferred
- Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Familiarity with security tools (Wireshark, Nmap, Metasploit)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
