Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk/Symantec) across 500+ enterprise endpoints
- Conduct forensic investigations for security incidents, including malware analysis and threat hunting
- Develop and implement security automation scripts using Python/PowerShell
- Collaborate with network engineering teams to harden infrastructure against zero-day exploits
- Create executive-level security dashboards and incident response reports
- Maintain compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA) for healthcare clients
- Lead quarterly penetration testing exercises for internal systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in security operations or SOC environments
- Active CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification (required)
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S) and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Hands-on experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant/Recorded Future)
- Strong scripting abilities (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat actor TTPs
- Ability to obtain DHS Secret clearance (US citizenship required)
