Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the Security Operations Center (SOC), including 24/7 monitoring and incident response.
- Oversee the deployment and optimization of security tools, including SIEM, EDR, and NDR solutions.
- Develop and execute incident response plans to mitigate security breaches and minimize downtime.
- Conduct threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and security audits to proactively identify risks.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Mentor and train junior security analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Collaborate with IT and executive leadership to communicate security risks and mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM are strongly required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and security architectures.
- Experience with cloud security frameworks (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
