Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and investigate anomalies using SIEM tools (Splunk, Azure Sentinel).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network security devices.
- Lead incident response efforts during security breaches and coordinate with legal/compliance teams.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or network engineering.
- Certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, Security+, or GSEC.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, and network protocols.
- Proficiency with Python or Bash scripting for security automation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
