Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches and cyber-attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise networks
- Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation and compliance frameworks
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training for stakeholders
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor emerging threats and provide actionable intelligence to leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on threat detection and incident response
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification (required)
- Expertise in NIST frameworks, CIS benchmarks, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and security tools (Wireshark, Metasploit)
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS Security Hub, Azure Sentinel)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
