Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM tools for security alerts and investigate potential incidents
- Analyze network traffic and system logs for anomalous activity
- Document security events and create incident response reports
- Assist in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement security patches and updates across systems
- Collaborate with IT teams to maintain security protocols
- Participate in tabletop exercises and security drills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (degree in IT/Cybersecurity preferred)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
