Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and systems for suspicious activities and potential security breaches.
- Analyze security alerts and respond to incidents using SIEM tools and incident response protocols.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to strengthen organizational defenses.
- Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and anti-malware solutions.
- Document security incidents, root causes, and resolution steps for compliance reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices and policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field is a plus).
- Basic understanding of computer networks, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
