Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify potential risks.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls, antivirus systems, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2) across the organization.
- Collaborate with IT and management teams to design and implement robust security architectures.
- Document security incidents, procedures, and technical configurations for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, network administration, or a related role.
- Certifications are a plus: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CISM.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with security tools such as Splunk, Snort, or FireEye.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
