As a key member of our Security Operations Center (SOC), you'll monitor, detect, and respond to cyber threats while implementing cutting-edge security protocols. Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activity and potential threats
- Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate remediation efforts
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including incident response playbooks and policies
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity trends
- Participate in security awareness training for employees across the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, threat analysis, or SOC operations
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, CIS Controls, ISO 27001)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and security automation platforms
- Experience with network security protocols (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Certifications preferred: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure during security incidents
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
