Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues using diagnostic tools
- Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integration projects
- Perform regular network maintenance and firmware updates
- Provide Tier-2/3 technical support for complex network incidents
- Assist in capacity planning and network scalability initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Administration or IT-related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA/CCNP certification or equivalent vendor certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet network equipment
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPN technologies
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Valid Georgia driver's license for occasional client site visits
