Responsibilities
- Conduct User Research: Plan and execute user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights that inform design decisions.
- Design Interfaces: Create wireframes, low-fidelity prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using industry-standard tools like Figma and Sketch.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with product managers and engineers to define product requirements and ensure design feasibility.
- Design Systems: Contribute to and maintain our internal design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across all digital touchpoints.
- Present Designs: Clearly articulate design rationale and concepts to stakeholders and gather constructive feedback.
- Accessibility Advocacy: Ensure all designs meet WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, preferably within a product-focused environment.
- Portfolio: A strong, portfolio showcasing a diverse range of projects, including case studies demonstrating your design process.
- Tools: Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and prototyping software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to non-technical audiences.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field (equivalent experience accepted).
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS) is a plus.
