Responsibilities
- Monitor and Analyze: Continuously monitor network traffic and security systems to identify suspicious activities and potential threats.
- Incident Response: Assist in the detection, analysis, and remediation of cybersecurity incidents and data breaches.
- Threat Hunting: Proactively search for hidden threats and vulnerabilities within the network infrastructure.
- Security Configuration: Help configure and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and endpoint protection tools.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation to support forensic analysis.
- Compliance Support: Assist in ensuring compliance with internal security policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Experience: No prior security experience required; we value potential and willingness to learn.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting technical findings.
