In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring our security posture, responding to incidents, and implementing robust defense strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts in real-time to identify and mitigate threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Investigate security incidents and manage the incident response lifecycle.
- Enforce security policies and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC2, HIPAA).
- Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Collaborate with IT operations to patch systems and harden infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or network security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, and network protocols.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) is a plus.
