Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to detect and respond to cyber threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing using provided tools
- Develop and implement security incident response plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture
- Generate comprehensive security reports and executive summaries
- Research emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
- Maintain security documentation and compliance frameworks
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys)
- Strong analytical skills and threat intelligence interpretation abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- Ability to work with provided security hardware and specialized software
