Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct incident response investigations and forensic analysis
- Implement vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security documentation and compliance reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch critical vulnerabilities
- Provide 24/7 on-call rotation support for critical incidents
- Train junior staff on security best practices and tools
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with daily pay or contract work
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency in network security tools (Wireshark, Nmap)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one
- Valid Florida driver's license for occasional client site visits
