Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security threats using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Respond to security incidents with rapid remediation protocols
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Generate comprehensive security reports for stakeholders
- Collaborate with IT teams on security compliance frameworks
- Research emerging threats and update defense strategies
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity analysis or related roles
- Active CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification
- Proficiency in network security tools (Snort, Wireshark)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Strong knowledge of NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks
- Ability to work independently under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
