Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within our SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems in real-time.
- Conduct daily vulnerability scans, risk assessments, and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in network architecture.
- Implement and maintain robust security controls, including firewalls, endpoint protection, and intrusion detection systems.
- Investigate and remediate security breaches, ensuring minimal impact on business operations and data integrity.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry standards such as NIST, HIPAA, and ISO 27001 through regular audits and documentation.
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to integrate security best practices into software development and network infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are strongly preferred.
- Proven experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel) and log analysis.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPN technologies, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure during incidents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting security findings to stakeholders.
