Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms for security incidents and anomalous activity
- Conduct forensic investigations and threat hunting across enterprise networks
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python/PowerShell
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement NIST and ISO 27001 controls
- Generate executive-level security dashboards and incident reports
- Lead incident response tabletop exercises and playbooks
- Stay current on emerging threats via MITRE ATT&CK framework
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC operations or threat detection
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with vulnerability scanning (Nessus, Qualys)
- Valid US DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain
