Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Analyze threat intelligence and emerging cyber trends to proactively mitigate risks
- Lead forensic investigations of security breaches and compile detailed reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in SOC operations or threat detection
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS) and protocols
- Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework and NIST guidelines
- Experience with incident response and forensics methodologies
- Ability to thrive under pressure during high-stakes security incidents
