Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms 24/7 to detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents
- Conduct threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence feeds
- Lead incident response lifecycle including containment, eradication, and recovery
- Develop executive-level security dashboards and compliance reports
- Collaborate with network engineers to harden infrastructure against attacks
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Train junior analysts on security protocols and emerging threats
Qualifications
- 3+ years SOC experience with CISSP or Security+ certification
- Expertise in Splunk/SIEM tools and enterprise log analysis
- Proven incident response handling using NIST SP 800-61 framework
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network forensics
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
- Ability to maintain composure during high-pressure security events
