Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activity
- Investigate and document security incidents using forensic tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and playbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Provide incident response support during security breaches
- Generate comprehensive security reports for leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in security operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ certification (CISSP/CEH preferred)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cloud security
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Ability to work rotating shifts and high-pressure situations
