Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and vulnerability assessments across networks
- Lead incident response activities including containment and eradication
- Develop and maintain security documentation (policies, procedures)
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Perform forensic analysis during security incidents
- Stay current on emerging threats and mitigation techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on security operations experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools and log analysis
- Strong understanding of network protocols and architecture
- Experience with NIST and CIS frameworks
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure during incident response
