Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage remediation efforts to reduce risk exposure.
- Investigate and contain security breaches or incidents in real-time.
- Enforce corporate security policies and ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to design secure network architectures.
- Perform regular security audits and penetration testing support.
- Produce detailed incident reports and threat intelligence summaries for management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or network security analysis.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
- Experience with Python or Bash scripting for security automation.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly.
- Must be located in or willing to relocate to Los Angeles, CA.
