Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms 24/7 to detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for internal/external systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation (playbooks, policies, procedures)
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Lead incident response activities including containment, eradication, and recovery
- Perform threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence
- Generate executive security reports and present findings to leadership
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and OS hardening
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys)
- Ability to work rotating shifts in a 24/7 security operations center
- Excellent written/verbal communication and problem-solving skills
- BS in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
