Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Windows Server and Linux (RHEL/CentOS) environments.
- Oversee Active Directory administration, user management, and group policies.
- Implement and maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and VPNs.
- Monitor system performance and health using tools like SolarWinds or Nagios to proactively resolve issues.
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Bash, and Ansible to improve efficiency.
- Ensure data backup and disaster recovery procedures are current and tested.
- Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to resolve technical escalations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Strong expertise in Windows Server and Linux administration.
- Deep knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- CompTIA Security+ or similar certifications are a plus.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
