Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and document security incidents with detailed forensic reports
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and implement security controls for cloud and on-premise infrastructure
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate security gaps
- Prepare executive-level security briefings and compliance documentation
- Stay current with emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- CompTIA Security+ and CISSP or equivalent certifications
- Proficiency in network protocols, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure during security incidents
