Core Responsibilities
- Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and lifecycle management of on-premise and cloud-based servers (Linux/Windows).
- Design and implement robust network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery protocols.
- Automate routine administrative tasks and infrastructure provisioning using scripting languages (Python, Bash, Ansible).
- Monitor system performance and security to identify vulnerabilities, apply patches, and mitigate threats proactively.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications and databases.
- Maintain detailed documentation of system architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support to internal stakeholders and resolve complex technical issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in System Administration or Network Engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Linux (Red Hat/CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
- Experience with Cloud Platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V.
- Scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Valid certification such as CompTIA Server+, RHCE, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
