Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server 2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) environments across 500+ endpoints
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN infrastructure
- Oversee AWS/Azure deployments including EC2, S3, and VPC configurations
- Execute system patching, backup/DR testing, and performance optimization
- Lead security initiatives including vulnerability scanning, firewalls, and compliance audits
- Document SOPs and provide Tier-3 support for complex technical issues
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline automation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering enterprise Windows/Linux environments
- Expert-level knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting
- Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) and virtualization experience (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds)
- ITIL foundation certification preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
