Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust network infrastructure and server environments
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource utilization
- Manage cloud services (AWS/Azure) and hybrid cloud architectures
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Coordinate disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives
- Lead system upgrades, patches, and configuration management
- Document procedures and provide technical guidance to junior staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration
- Expert proficiency in Windows Server and Linux environments
- Strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization
- Certifications (CompTIA Network+, MCSA, or Linux+) preferred
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation
