Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the daily operations of on-premise servers and cloud environments (AWS/Azure) to ensure 99.9% uptime and optimal performance.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and monitor advanced security protocols, manage firewalls, and conduct regular vulnerability assessments to protect sensitive organizational data.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues efficiently to minimize downtime and support business continuity.
- Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain PowerShell and Bash scripts to automate routine tasks, improve operational efficiency, and streamline workflows.
- Backup & Recovery: Design, test, and execute robust disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of a catastrophic failure.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with DevOps, Network Engineering, and Security teams to integrate new technologies and improve system architecture.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in System Administration, preferably within a corporate or enterprise environment.
- Operating Systems: Strong proficiency in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (Ubuntu/RedHat/CentOS).
- Identity Management: Deep knowledge of Active Directory (AD) administration and Microsoft 365 integration.
- Scripting: Advanced proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or MCSE) are highly preferred.
