Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures including cloud hybrid environments
- Lead system hardening, patch management, and security compliance initiatives
- Automate workflows using Python/PowerShell and CI/CD pipelines
- Provide Tier-3 support for critical systems and coordinate disaster recovery drills
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker)
- Document procedures and create runbooks for system administration tasks
- Mentor junior staff and conduct technology training sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of enterprise-level system administration experience
- Expert proficiency in Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments
- Strong knowledge of AWS/Azure infrastructure and networking fundamentals
- Industry certifications (CompTIA Server+, AWS SysOps, or equivalent)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Splunk)
- Proven track record in scripting automation and infrastructure-as-code
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
