Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization (VMware), and cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Implement security protocols, patch management, and disaster recovery solutions
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and proactively prevent downtime
- Automate tasks using scripting (PowerShell/Python) and configuration management tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT operations with business objectives
- Document processes, create runbooks, and maintain system documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in system administration with Windows Server and Linux
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware vSphere), cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and networking
- Certifications (CompTIA Server+, MCSA, or equivalent) preferred
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix) and ITSM platforms
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
