- Manage and maintain Windows Server, Linux, and cloud-based (AWS/Azure) environments
- Implement and monitor security protocols, including firewalls and access controls
- Handle system backups, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions
- Automate workflows using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible
- Troubleshoot complex network and system issues with SLA adherence
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Document infrastructure changes and maintain compliance standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years administering Windows Server and Linux systems
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or equivalent
- Strong scripting abilities (PowerShell/Python/Bash)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, or Datadog)
- Proven track record in implementing ITIL best practices
