Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server/Linux environments across on-premises and AWS/Azure cloud platforms
- Implement and monitor security protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and access controls
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible/Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
- Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and disaster recovery testing
- Lead infrastructure migrations and cloud transformation initiatives
- Document system configurations, procedures, and runbooks
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize infrastructure for scalability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years in system administration)
- Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Proficiency with scripting (PowerShell/Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Strong understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, VPNs, load balancing)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Datadog)
- Security certifications (CISSP, Security+) or relevant cloud certifications (AWS/Azure)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with proven incident resolution experience
