Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and in-person.
- Configure and manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings within Active Directory.
- Install, upgrade, troubleshoot, and repair workstations, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on servers and operating systems (Windows 10/11).
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and actions taken in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on larger projects and system migrations.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 1-3 years of professional IT support or Help Desk experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows (10/11), Microsoft Office 365, and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with remote access tools (VPN, TeamViewer, AnyDesk) and basic networking concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to lift and carry computer equipment (approx. 40 lbs) as needed.
