What You'll Do
You will be responsible for designing, testing, and refining prompts to ensure Large Language Models (LLMs) perform at their highest level.
Responsibilities
- Design Advanced Prompts: Create complex, multi-turn prompts for LLMs (GPT-4, Claude, etc.) to drive specific business outcomes.
- Optimize AI Performance: Analyze model outputs to reduce hallucinations and improve response accuracy and relevance.
- Conduct A/B Testing: Systematically test different prompt variations to determine the most effective strategies.
- Collaborate with Data Science: Work hand-in-hand with ML engineers to provide human feedback for model fine-tuning.
- Build Prompt Libraries: Document and maintain a repository of reusable prompt templates for the engineering team.
- Product Integration: Integrate AI capabilities directly into our client-facing products seamlessly.
Qualifications
- Technical Background: Strong understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts and tokenization.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python or JavaScript is highly preferred.
- Experience: Demonstrable experience in prompt engineering or working with AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face).
- Problem Solving: Ability to deconstruct ambiguous problems into structured, logical instructions.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Creativity: A knack for creative writing and finding novel ways to guide AI behavior.
