We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our elite team in Jersey City, NJ. In this role, you will bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring seamless deployment and management of our cloud infrastructure. You will leverage the latest technologies to drive efficiency, scalability, and security across our platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage highly scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation to automate environment provisioning.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions to streamline deployment processes.
- Monitor system performance and optimize cloud resource costs (FinOps).
- Collaborate with security teams to implement identity and access management (IAM) best practices and compliance standards.
- Lead incident response efforts and troubleshoot complex cloud-native issues in production environments.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles.
- Strong proficiency with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) or Azure services.
- Expert knowledge of containerization technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/AKS).
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Proven track record of implementing robust security protocols and data governance frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to mentor junior engineers.
