Responsibilities
- Design, test, and refine prompt architectures for large language models to optimize output quality and alignment
- Develop systematic prompt engineering frameworks for enterprise-scale AI applications
- Conduct A/B testing and performance analysis of different prompt strategies
- Create documentation and best practice guides for prompt engineering methodologies
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate AI capabilities into user-facing applications
- Stay current with emerging AI research and implement cutting-edge techniques
- Mentor junior engineers on prompt optimization strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering or NLP model optimization
- Proficiency with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face)
- Strong understanding of transformer architecture and attention mechanisms
- Experience with Python and prompt engineering frameworks (LangChain, Guidance)
- Exceptional written communication and problem-solving abilities
