Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Cisco/Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and PRTG tools
- Implement VLANs, VPNs, and network security protocols
- Troubleshoot network outages and connectivity issues
- Document network topologies and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cloud teams for hybrid network solutions
- Perform capacity planning and network upgrades
- Maintain compliance with NIST and SOC 2 standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in enterprise network administration
- CCNP/JNCIP certification required (CCIE/JNCIE preferred)
- Expertise in BGP, OSPF, and MPLS protocols
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
- Experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet security solutions
- Proficient in Python for network automation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Ability to work flexible hours for maintenance windows
