We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Network Technician to join our Honolulu-based team. As a critical part of our IT infrastructure department, you will ensure our network remains robust, secure, and efficient for all our enterprise clients. Role Overview
In this role, you will manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software. You will be the frontline defender against network outages, ensuring seamless data flow for businesses across the island.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and wireless network hardware.
- Perform regular network audits, security patching, and system updates.
- Diagnose and resolve complex network connectivity issues with minimal downtime.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with vendors and other IT professionals to implement new network solutions.
- Ensure compliance with company IT security policies and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Valid Cisco CCNA certification is highly desired.
- Proven experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Must be willing to work on-site in Honolulu, HI.
