Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test scripts to ensure software functionality and stability.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using industry-standard bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and resolve issues efficiently.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and comprehensive training sessions to enhance testing skills.
- Conduct regression testing on new releases to ensure existing features remain unaffected.
- Create and maintain detailed test plans and test cases for new features.
- Monitor application performance and report anomalies to the development team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and logical thinking skills.
- Basic understanding of computer operating systems and web browsers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to undergo paid training and obtain necessary certifications.
- No prior QA experience is required.
