Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events (SIEM) during weekend shifts.
- Respond to and remediate security incidents with minimal downtime.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and patch management on critical infrastructure.
- Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN access controls.
- Conduct periodic security audits and compliance checks.
- Document all security activities and incident reports for the Monday morning review.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity or network security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are required.
- Mandatory availability to work weekend shifts (e.g., Friday to Sunday).
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common attack vectors.
- Proficiency with security tools (Splunk, Snort, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently during off-hours.
