Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to identify potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct thorough incident response and remediation activities for security breaches and anomalies.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing support, and risk analysis.
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to enforce security best practices and patch management.
- Provide security awareness training and guidance to internal staff regarding phishing and social engineering.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in Cybersecurity or Information Security.
- Certification preferred: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and endpoint protection.
- Experience with cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a major plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and possess a valid work visa if applicable.
