Responsibilities
- Data Strategy & Modeling: Design and maintain complex data models and schemas to support business reporting and analytics initiatives.
- Advanced Analytics: Perform deep-dive statistical analysis and predictive modeling to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Visualization & Reporting: Create compelling dashboards and interactive visualizations using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to communicate complex data findings to stakeholders.
- ETL Processes: Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipelines and ensure data quality and integrity.
- Business Intelligence: Partner with product and marketing teams to provide actionable insights that directly impact revenue and user engagement.
- SQL Development: Write optimized, complex SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data from large-scale databases.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Snowflake) and Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data manipulation.
- Tools: Expert-level experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI) and data warehouses.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business value.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot data issues and derive insights from unstructured data.
