What You Will Do:
Our ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of network security and incident response. You will work closely with the SOC team to monitor security events, investigate anomalies, and implement robust security measures to safeguard our data assets.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in real-time using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage patch management processes.
- Configure and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs to ensure network integrity.
- Enforce corporate security policies and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Investigate suspicious activities and prepare detailed incident reports.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into the SDLC.
- Stay current on emerging threats and security trends to proactively improve our defenses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or a similar role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or SSCP are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with penetration testing tools or network scanning software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
