Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced prompt engineering strategies for LLMs including GPT-4, Claude, and proprietary models
- Develop and maintain prompt libraries with version control and A/B testing frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate prompt solutions into production AI systems
- Conduct prompt performance analysis using quantitative metrics and qualitative user feedback
- Document prompt architectures and create best practice guides for engineering teams
- Stay current with emerging AI research and prompt engineering methodologies
- Mentor junior engineers on prompt design principles and ethical AI implementation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Cognitive Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering or NLP system development
- Proven expertise with LLM APIs including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Hugging Face
- Strong programming skills in Python with experience in data manipulation libraries
- Exceptional written communication with ability to translate complex concepts into clear instructions
- Experience with MLOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for AI systems
