Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and SIEM dashboards to detect and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct daily vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Enforce strict security policies and ensure compliance with NIST, ISO, and HIPAA standards.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to patch vulnerabilities and harden system architecture.
- Lead incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and conduct post-mortem analysis to improve security posture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or Security Engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Azure Sentinel) and network firewalls.
- Certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills under pressure.
