Responsibilities
- Monitor 24/7 SIEM alerts (Splunk, QRadar) and triage security incidents
- Conduct forensic investigations and coordinate breach response protocols
- Develop threat intelligence reports and mitigation strategies
- Implement and optimize security controls for cloud/on-premise environments
- Collaborate with IT teams on vulnerability assessments and patch management
- Document security procedures and maintain compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT Security, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on SOC analyst or incident response experience
- Certification (CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GIAC preferred)
- Expertise in network security protocols and threat detection tools
- Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize critical incidents
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and IAM frameworks
