Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Windows/Linux servers, cloud environments (AWS/Azure), and network infrastructure
- Implement security protocols, patches, and compliance standards (HIPAA/GDPR)
- Proactively monitor system health using tools like Nagios/SolarWinds
- Handle disaster recovery planning and incident response
- Automate workflows via PowerShell/Python and configuration management tools
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines
- Document processes and maintain technical documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of system administration experience with Windows Server and Linux
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization (VMware)
- Certifications: CompTIA Server+, CCNA, or AWS Certified SysOps Admin preferred
- Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python/Bash) and automation tools
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, and network protocols
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure
