Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Implement and manage network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot Active Directory, user accounts, and permissions.
- Oversee daily system backups and develop comprehensive disaster recovery plans.
- Monitor system health and performance using monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios).
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and resolve complex hardware and software issues.
- Collaborate with development teams to deploy and manage applications in production and staging environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, CCNA, or MCSE are highly preferred.
- Proven experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu).
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and DHCP/DNS services.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
